On 12-03-58 collision in fog with MV "King Minos" 12 miles off Dungeness; broke in two; forepart taken in tow and beached 2 1/2 miles south of Rye Harbor, position 50?46'N 00?55'E (voyage Montreal / Helsinki - grain); afterpart presumed sank; 12-10-58 forepart refloated and towed to Boulogne, declared a CTL in January 1959 ?; scrapped at Antwerp, Belgium.
