John Straub on March 26th 1944 at position 50°50'N 135°40'W appr.440 miles northwest off Vancouver Island. Owned by U.S.Department of Commerce and operated by Alaska Steamship Co.Inc.under WSA Service Agreement Form GAA (General Agent Agreement). Less than one month before she was lost.
